Today the year 2 children had lots of fun further developing their Welsh and physical skills. We began by watching the Welsh film ‘Mynd i’r parc’, during which the children had to listen to characters talking in Welsh about things they like to do in the park in the Autumn. They then listened carefully to the story Hywl yn y Parc yn yr Hydref before spending the afternoon further developing gross motor skills on the play equipment. The children confidently used their questioning and answering skills in Welsh to find out what their friends enjoy doing in the park. Next week the children will use the photographs that they took, and will use their wordprocessing skills, to create a class book based on the story they read.
