Today, the children began taking part in orienteering skills.  They learnt that it involves taking part in exercise while navigating around a course using a map. We talked about the use of symbols. Each group had several ‘funny face’ maps using symbols, which they then recreated on the ground using the equipment shown,’ ensuring the correct colours were used and that they were placed in the right order. They checked their ‘funny face’ against the map before completing another one. Super team work today Blwyddyn Dau!
