This week, the Year 2 children enjoyed finding out about Christmas traditions around the world. The children decided at the start of term that this was something that they wanted to learn about, and they were extremely enthusiastic about the focused tasks! The children discovered lots of amazing facts, including Australians decorating their homes with ‘Christmas Bush’, Brazil has the World’s largest Christmas tree and in Mexico people carve radishes to make Nativity scenes! Fantastic research Year 2!
