This week, Year Two’s Messy Monday activities were based on the story ‘Oi! Get Off Our Train!’. The children enjoyed further developing lots of skills in a range of activities. They worked very well together to act out the story on our stage, using their bodies and voices carefully for the different characters. They applied their measuring skills well when making potions for the sick seal. Using natural materials, the children created some super collages of the animals in the stories. Finally, the children loved going on a teeny tiny treasure hunt, where they collected, compared and discussed the tiny things in the environment that interested them.
