Dosbarth Fir had a fantastic time at Morriston Fire Station today. The firefighters showed us around the station- the children couldn’t believe how tall the pole is and that the firefighters have beds in the station! The pupils had the chance to sit inside a fire engine and see all the different equipment it holds. They absolutely loved squirting the hose and we were all very impressed with Miss Brown who volunteered to go up on the ladder on one of the engines- it reached the height of a 10 storey building! A fun, informative day- a huge thank you to the staff at Morriston Fire Station for having us.
