Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the Egypt centre today to learn even more about our big question ‘What was life like in Ancient Egypt?’

Some of the activities the children particularly enjoyed were:

• Learning about the Ancient Egyptian number system and going on a hunt around the centre to count different Egyptian artefacts.
• Learning about Ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses and role playing the story of the gods using different hats.
• Learning about the different foods and drinks that were available during the Ancient Egyptian Period.
• Learning and playing Senet and Ancient Egyptian board game.

As you can see from the photos the children really enjoyed and we are very proud of them all for the maturity they demonstrated throughout the day!
