We’ve all been spending more time online during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, whether to stay in touch with friends and family, keep up with school work or for entertainment. Keeping yourself safe online has never been more important.

Many of you will have been taking steps to protect yourselves and others and online we’re keen to learn about your experiences.

We’re calling on children and young people in Wales to design a creative a poster or graphic that expresses your experience of keeping safe online. You may have helped others in sharing kindness, thought about and checked the information which you been reading (there has been lot of misleading information out there!), reflected on your digital footprint and what you post online or how you’ve kept your online accounts secure.

We will be publishing your experiences on Hwb and a selection of designs will be chosen to feature in the 2020 Digital Resilience in Education action plan for children and young people, due for publication later this year.

Your designs can be created using Hwb tools, such as:

  • Adobe Spark
  • Just2easy
  • Office 365

Alternatively, you can get creative with arts and crafts and submit a photograph of your work*.

* Please ensure that you cannot be identified in the submission i.e. your face or a recognisable part of your home. Any submissions that could identify you will be withdrawn.

Closing date for submissions is Friday 28 August 2020.
