Today our nature detectives (Dosbarth Cherry Blossom) looked to see what they could learn about sunflowers by looking at seed packets. First they pointed out different letters, numbers and colours, and then they were able to find lots of interesting information, including when to plant them, how to plant them and that there are many different types of sunflowers. They were very excited to find out there is a type of sunflower called a Teddy Bear sunflower! Then they opened the packets and examined the seeds. They used lots of amazing adjectives to describe the seeds and someone said that some of the seeds were stripy like a zebra. Good work!
