Today, the Year 3’s continued with their Remembrance Day activities. We began the day with a special assembly where the children learnt about the importance of remembering this occasion every year.
We then watched a beautiful and evocative animation that follows a young rabbit through the poppy fields during WW1. The children really enjoyed watching the animation which resulted in a thoughtful discussion about not only the veterans who served in the war but also the courageous animals that stood by their sides. Year 3 will remember them ❤️
The children have also been busy making some paper Poppies and painting Poppies on pebbles to mark Remembrance Day. Well done Year 3!
