Year 2 completed lots of activities as part of our Anti-Bullying week. We began by watching the Disney Pixar film ‘For the Birds’ and discussed how the characters were behaving. We discussed the exact meaning of bullying. We then designed our own birds for the film, emphasising how it’s ok to be different and how we should respect everybody. We then set up a class kindness tree, to encourage and celebrate acts of kindness. Finally, we read and discussed the story ‘I Won’t Be Made To Feel Bad’, which taught us ways to stand up for ourselves and our friends if we ever witness bullying, and other ways that we can put a stop to bullying.
