This week, the children have been working hard on developing their use of descriptive language in their writing and today, they got the opportunity to use what they had learnt to create a descriptive Bonfire Night poem.

The children used their senses to think about what they would hear, see, smell, taste and touch on Bonfire Night then used these ideas to creat their own senses poem using descriptive language.

The children’s poems were absolutely fantastic – well done Year 3!
