Year 3 have been busy learning all about 3D shapes and their properties this week! We have been identifying the names of 3D shapes and how many faces, edges and vertices they have!
Today the children particularly enjoyed having to find the correct shape to match the clue cards (which stated the mystery shapes number of faces, edges and vertices).
We then went on to looking at the nets of 3D shapes and how we can use our understanding of shape properties to identify the 3D shape by its net.
