As part of our maths focus this week, the children have been finding out about the different ways in which we can measure and today, the children had the opportunity to put in to practise what they have learnt by taking part in a measuring scavenger hunt. They had to work together to find lots of different things, such as an abject that was longer than a meter, an object that was exactly 10 cubes long, an item shorter than their foot and many more! They all did a fantastic job and managed to find everything on their list. Well done Year 1 – awesome team work!
